                                        Pasta’s fairy tale

         Once upon a time, there was a little princess, who lived in a beautiful castle in the forest. She was very beautiful but a little bit naughty. People called her pasta, because she loved eating pasta. 

She had an ugly step-mother. She is always jealous of her beauty. One day, she woke up and saw her stepmother still sleep. She drew her face with dirty ink. When she woke up she was so angry, so that she used magic to turn a beautiful princess into a frog. A little frog was so scared, she jumped to the forest. Nobody knew the little princess had gone. Suddenly, it rained heavily, she didn’t know where to go, she cried because she was so hungry and scared. Luckily, an ugly duck came to her and said: hey, a little frog, what are you doing here? Where is your mom? “

The princess answered in the tears: “My mom was dead, my step-mother turned me into an ugly frog… and now I am so scared.”

“Come with me, now you have me, I’ll be your friend”. She said. Then the duck took the frog home and told her mom the story of a miserable frog. Her mom looked at the frog and smiled: “sure, you can be here. We are not rich but we have love. We’ll consider you as a member of my family”.

-What’s your name, dear?

-My name is pasta.

-Oh, it is a nice name. This is Lou, Zino, and Tom, now they are your brother and sisters.

Everyday, Pasta played with ducks. Brother Tom always teased her because she was a new one, but  Zino protected her. They were like two sisters. The frog loved to be here. She could jump to the river side and swim with the ducks all day long. In the evening, She came back home and ate vegetable soup with duck family. She loved mama duck very much because she was kind to her and she read fairy tales at night. Pasta loved to sleep with Zino and Lou. The small house was full of laugh all day.

Until one day, Pasta saw a butterfly and she kept chasing it. She jumped and jumped and she realized that she was far away from home. She saw an old tree with many branches. It looked scary. Suddenly, she saw a flash inside the tree hollow.  “Wow, it’s so beautiful”- Pasta jumped into the hollow. It was a beautiful gold mirror. When she looked at the mirror, it reflected Pasta. But it’s not a frog appearance, It’s a beautiful Pasta princess with long red hair, white as snow skin and sweet-strawberry lips. She was so surprised because she didn’t see herself for a long time. Strangely, It reflected the castle, her evil step-mother, and the poor people in her country. They looked miserable and gloomy. Pasta burst out crying, she thought:” I have to come back, I have to protect my people. Poor them, they need me…”

When Pasta came home, she was so sad. In the evening, Zino asked “Pasta, why are you so sad, where have you been all day? Tell me, you can count on me”. The frog told Zino what she had met today. Zino said “If you want to come back there, at least you must have human appearance, or else your evil mother will kill you. Tomorrow, I will take you to Dr. Owl. He knows everything, he’ll tell you what to do”.

The next morning, Zino and Pasta had to go a long distance to meet Dr. Owl. He looked at the frog and said :”There is no way to help you to come back to human appearance, except you have to prove that you are a real princess and the curse will be broken”

            She didn’t understand what Dr. Owl had said to her. “How can I prove I am a princess, Zino. It’s a long time and I’m a frog now, huhuhu, I can’t do it”

“Take it easy, Pasta, we can do it, don’t worry”

Duck family slept but the frog couldn’t. She sneaked off the house at midnight. She came to the scary tree, and looked at the mirror again. She saw the image of miserable people. She couldn’t take it anymore, she jumped from stone to stone, river to river… a long distance to come back to the castle.

Nobody noticed her, they looked pale and tired. She jumped into the castle. Her evil step-mother enjoyed her crown. Pasta shouted: Evil witch, still remember me?

She was surprised that the princess was here, right in front of her. She shouted: You are still alive?”

Yes, I’m, now I come back here to take my throne back, you are not deserved to have it. Look at these people, what have you done?

“hahaha, I won’t let you do that- Guards, catch that dirty frog and kill her”

While the guards tried to catch her, she jumped on evil mother’s face and took her crown. The moment Pasta touched the crown, there was a glamorous light. Magically, the frog turned into a beautiful princess. All people realized their princess immediately. They were angry, took evil step-mother and threw her down a deep well.

Princess Pasta took the throne and helped people live happily. Pasta with duck family lived happily ever after in a beautiful castle.
